We have a weekly parent email -
one for JH and one for HS. Email Erik @
(erik.anderson@mcclife.net) and let him know which one you
want to be added too.
Anytime we are transporting minors, we want
to make sure they are safe. So we have a driver’s form we
need you to fill out. So click on the link below,
print it, fill it out and turn it in to Scott so we can be
transporting our students on some great events for Christ!
Discipleship is following Jesus, every day in
every action. It is a passionate love for God that brings overflowing joy
and amazing self-discipline to your life.
Fellowship
Fellowship is God's love for God's people,
living through you. The early Christians had it so strong that people
joined their ranks in droves. The same thing can happen today.
Mission
God has a heart for the lost and for those
who suffer for injustice. Mission happens when your heart beats with God's
heart for the world. Life with God is never boring!
This
is an amazing first step at supporting mission work. The Covenant church
(our larger church family) picks 6 projects a year. They mail you the
info, you send in support - whether that is $2, $20 or anything else. This
is a great way to be involved in God's heart for the world! Click here to check it out!

Growing up is hard.
Parenting is hard, too. In Student Ministries we are
committed to making this a time of understanding between you
and your adolescent kids. What does it take to make
the parent/church partnership successful in the life of a
student?
A Pledge:
It starts with a Pledge from a parent - will
you commit to raising your son or daughter to love Jesus Christ as Savior and
Lord? This is no easy challenge, no simple Pledge. It is more
important, though, than grades, sports, jobs or anything else. In the
Bible, the responsibility for raising godly children is the job of the parents
(Deut 6). Yet adolescence is a time when your children are pulling away
from you. This can make the Pledge difficult! This doesn't mean you
should stop teaching, training, disciplining and instructing. It means you
need backup, encouragement, and support. That is where Student Ministries
come in.
A Promise:
We make a Promise to you. We will
support you as a parent. We Promise to keep you informed, encouraged, and
supported. We Promise to build your relationship and communication with
your son or daughter. We Promise to be an advocate for your son or
daughter. At a time when they are pulling away, we want them to find the
mentoring relationships of godly men and women, leaders in our church and
ministry who will take the time to love, listen, and challenge students.
Together, we can make a difference for life, helping you raise a child who loves
God, loves others, and does great things for the Kingdom.
